  • WHAT IS THE COVINGTON BALL?

    • The Covington Ball is a celebration of purpose, impact, and legacy, and a meaningful way to give back.Guests join The Covington Family Foundation for an elegant evening that this year honors the legacy of Mr. Matthew Covington and Dr. Aliya Covington (Ed.D.), while celebrating the accomplishments of our Covington Family Foundation Scholars.

      All proceeds from ticket sales directly support TCFF’s scholarships and programs, helping expand access to education and opportunity. Guests are encouraged to dress their very best and join us for a night of recognition, celebration, and community impact.

  • WHEN IS THE COVINGTON BALL?

    • Saturday May 23, 2026

    • Please note that this event takes place over Memorial Day Weekend. We strongly recommend planning your travel accordingly and arriving no later than 5:30 PM to allow sufficient time for parking.

  • WHAT IS THE EVENT START TIME AND END TIME?

    • Registration/Check-In: 5:30PM

    • Start Time: 6PM

    • End Time: 11PM

  • IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

    • Yes. Formal attire is required at the Covington Ball. Guests are encouraged to dress their very best in elegant evening wear.
      Please note that jeans, sweats, and sneakers are not permitted.

  • CAN CHILDREN ATTEND THE COVINGTON BALL?

    • While we love our young guests, The Covington Ball is an adults-only event (18+). We appreciate your understanding as we create an evening experience designed specifically for adult attendees.

  • WHEN CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS FOR THE COVINGTON BALL?

    • Tickets go on sale May 4, 2025. Tickets will be available through April 25, 2026 or until sold out. Please note that ticket quantities are limited.

  • HOW MUCH ARE COVINGTON BALL TICKETS?

    • Tickets are $85 per person and can only be purchased via Donor Box.

  • ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?

    • All ticket sales are final and cannot be refunded, exchanged or transferred. Proceeds from ticket purchases directly support The Covington Family Foundation scholarships and programs, helping expand access to education and opportunity.

  • CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE DOOR?

    • TICKETS WILL BE SOLD ONLINE ONLY VIA DONORBOX.

    • YES, FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE TO ALL COVINGTON BALL GUESTS.

  • WHAT YOUTH AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS DOES THE COVINGTON FAMILY FOUNDATION OFFER?

    • Edward T. Covington Scholarship
      Awarded to high school seniors pursuing higher education.

    • Dr. Aliya Covington Educator Impact Merit Award
      A nomination-based award for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in education, recognizing leadership, service, and commitment to the field.

    • Matthew Covington Legacy Builders Award
      An application-based award for students ages 16 and older seeking careers in the trades or technical fields through trade schools or certificate programs.

    • EARN Academy (Launching mid-2026)
      SAT Prep and Financial Literacy workshops designed for youth ages 8–17, focused on academic readiness, money management, and long-term success.
